Thank you so much for all your help . cbt has certainly been a great help to me and it should be on the national curriculum! I know feel much more like “ME” and after just 6 sessions an awful lot of worry and anxiety has gone . Chris is a great listener and she never makes you feel silly or lost

I wish I’d found someone like Chris to talk to years ago!
I was really scared sending her the first email, but I’d reached a point where I just wanted to stop thinking the way I thought. I was tired of being so negative about myself and fed up of hiding away and avoiding as many social situations as I could. I found her online and when I saw ‘Everyone deserves to be happy’ written on her site, I made myself send her a note.
I needn’t have been scared though – from our first meeting, Chris was welcoming, kind and friendly – and after a few sessions with her, I stopped feeling embarrassed and guilty about the things I was saying out loud. Things that I had never said out loud to anyone before.
I can’t really explain how or why talking to someone like Chris works, it just does.
I have a better understanding of why I am the way I am, but instead of feeling frustrated and confused like I did, I feel more accepting of everything. I feel better prepared to deal with things that will be thrown at me in the future, and less inclined to hide away. And I’ve learnt that I can change the way I think – it is possible – and that alone is having a really positive impact on my life.
Nothing seems as grey as it did 3 months ago – and for that I owe Chris a massive gigantic thank you!
