I made contact with Christine when I was at a low ebb. My anxieties were getting the better of me and my sleep patterns were completely erratic. Chris introduced me to CBT in a manner both sympathetic and straightforward. She is not judgemental, listens with great care and enabled me to reflect upon the root of my anxiety and, very importantly, to discover ways of turning my thinking in a far more helpful direction. Over five or six sessions we explored and examined the evidence that led me to make certain judgments, the onus for a solution always being with me: Chris will be very clear, only the individual can resolve his/ her issues, but she (Chris) will teach the strategies and provide the tools that will enable this. I guess, like anyone, I shall continue to experience uncertainty and anxiety from time to time. Thanks to Chris, I now feel much better equipped to deal with this, knowing that, at root, it has been unhelpful thinking that has sometimes taken me down very tortuous paths.
